The article gives information about the book "Jesse: The Life and Pilgrimage of Jesse Jackson," by Marshall Frady. The book is full of talk about moral visions, lost prophets and spiritual vacuums in the political discourse. In these days of racial backlash, simple solutions to complicated questions and boredom with claims of injustice, one can only assume that Frady actually believes in such non-sense. Not only that, he believes that Jesse Jackson does as well. By the book's end, readers are satisfied. Readers are satisfied because, by page 552, readers fully comprehend the mystery of Jesse's character.
