After the murder of social reformer Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the author stopped using the words "revolution" and "revolutionary." The author thought nothing in the works merited such praise. But one night, a few months ago, he found the revolution nailed to his front door. Pages and pages of new poetry brightened the evening with their solid light. And the author found them fluttering there, in the slightly risen wind, as definite and as faithful as that long ago revolutionary proclamation hammered into history by the first Martin Luther. Student poet revolutionaries had written their poems for the world to read and heed. That act symbolizes the number-one attribute of these new revolutionaries: trust.
