This article presents information on the current state of race relations in the U.S. Citing the example of O.J. Simpson case, it is opined that the verdicts passed were not that complicated. Assuming the rules of the judicial system in Los Angeles and Santa Monica were fair and followed-- and only the appellate process can determine that-- one must accept both verdicts if one are to live in a nation of laws and not of men and women. It is further informed that with so much of U.S. population facing unemployment and without health insurance, the general public is not that bothered about the issue concerning race and racial reconciliation.
