The article focuses on various television programs, broadcast in the U.S. The newest lifestyle drama on television, "Relativity," by Marshall Hershkovitz and Edward Zwick aims for the Generation X demographic. Moloney is a stripped-down cop show that goes for the head, not the gut. "Relativity" makes an earnest and painstakingly non-controversial effort to acknowledge that its two lovebirds come from different economic worlds, setting it in the company of "The Nanny," and "Dangerous Minds" as a show that engages a basic fact of American life.
