The author discusses the re-emergence of the right-wing movement under the leadership of U.S. President George W. Bush. He believes that the presidency of Bush represents a far more formidable challenge that either former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich. The movement's objective is to roll back the twentieth century. He cites the key elements of the right wing's vision.
