The article offers information on Foaud Ajami. He was born on September 19, 1945 in Lebanon. Before turning 18, he went to the U.S. and took graduate work at the University of Washington. He made a dissertation paper about the world government and foreign relations. He became a professor of political science at Princeton in 1973. He has authored several books including "The Vanished Imam" and "The Arab Predicament." Ajami once said in his column in "Foreign Affairs" that the U.S. wants to modernize the Arab world through Iraq.
