The article presents incidents related to the world politics. Since 75 million people voted out of a census total for the over 18's of 193,660,000 in the U.S., this gives a turnout for the supposed "seismic event" of 39 percent. About 13 million of this total are aliens or undocumented residents, both disfranchised, or people in prison or in bins, some disfranchised. The census total excludes Americans living abroad who are eligible, but that generally matches the number of imprisoned people who are counted but ineligible. The anti-immigrant measure passed strongly in California. voted 39,495 to 35,891. In Oregon, ballot initiatives were a mixed bag. While all of the crime measures passed by more than 25 percent margins.
