The article discusses the importance of sexual abstinence in teenagers. The group discussed in the article is using various methods to promote this idea . They are using Christian thoughts and beliefs to teach teenagers the need to remain sexually pure till they are married. Teenagers are asked to sign a pledge and given genderwise separate discourses to promote chastity. To catch their interest they even organized a rock concert. And they were appealing to the fantasies of manhood/womanhood to achieve their goal. What they can't teach through discourses they tried to achieve through fear of God.
