This article presents information on the book "The Haldeman Diaries: Inside the Nixon White House," H.R. Haldeman. This volume is recently published during the official period of mourning for Richard Nixon, the 37th President of the U.S. They are repulsive almost beyond belief, yet therein lies their importance. Ostensibly designed to record the doings of a great man, they devastate Nixon's reputation. According to the widow and personal friends of Haldeman, his diaries reflect two men, Haldeman and Nixon, in an "intense one-on-one relationship." A complete version of this book, having 60 per cent more material than this book, is available on Sony Imagesoft CD-ROM.
