This article presents views of the members of the Harlem Writers Crew of New York City, on the U.S. Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education. The crew members include: Tina Ipeleng Kgositsile, a freelance writer; Dexter Errol James, currently involved with the Children's Defense Fund Black Student Leadership Network; Marisa Charece Sanders, a college student and Paco Alejandro Smith, a production assistant for a film company. According to Tina, "A segregated society is only an unjust society when the groups that are separated are not treated equally. At times, I don't think a segregated society is the most unjust society in the world."
