This article discusses the book "An Eye for an Eye: The Untold Story of Jewish Revenge Against Germans in 1945," by John Sack. The book provides firsthand accounts of concentration camps in postwar Poland, where, Sack says, Jews tortured, starved and killed innocent German women, old men and children. Sack claims the death toll was 60,000-80,000. As a result, several million Germans were expelled from their hometowns to make room for Polish settlers in one of modern history's greatest ethnic cleansings. Certainly some Communists from Jewish backgrounds did mistreat and murder Germans in Polish camps after the war.
