This article presents information on several books. Art critic Arthur C. Danto is represented in yet another gathering of his work, "Embodied Meanings: Critical Essays and Aesthetic Meditations." Most of the forty-one critical essays found within are taken from the pages of this magazine. Music critic, Gene Santoro's range is spelled out in the subtitle to his "Dancing in Your Head: Jazz, Blues, Rock, and Beyond." His love of the music is evident in the sixty-five sound bites, most of which originally appeared in these pages. Santoro's energy, interest in historical influences and metaphoric flair enliven the entire collection.
