The article presents several news briefs from different parts of the world related to religion. In Algeria last month a group of Muslim fundamentalists on motorcycles gunned down two young women because they had not covered their heads with a veil. Algerian fundamentalists have killed about 4,000 people in the past two years in, a campaign to install an Iranian style Islamic republic. Although the Catholic church renounced its ancient animus against Jews, in Catholic Poland anti-Semitism persists. That's why one was not cheered by the news that the Wolf's Lair-the Nazis' World War II Eastern Front command post-- was being turned into a theme park with employees in Wehrmacht uniforms and a Hitler's Bunker disco.
