This article presents information about political, health and economic issues. The journal "Reason" spends much of its January 1994 issue and part of its February number attempting to knock the plan of U.S. President Bill Clinton from even poorer angles, e.g., arguing against the concept of a right to health care. The cover story in the January 24, 1994 issue of the journal "The New Republic" on Ira Magaziner pretends the President's plan is analytically sound but problematic because of its technobabbling, politically inept squire. The residents of Chiapas voted on NAFTA a bit late and in rather serious fashion. No doubt many of the writers in the December 1994 issue of the "Review of Radical Political Economics" were not much surprised at the balloting.
