In this article the author discusses the opinion of mass media in the case of Ed Rollins, Republican Party Consultant who hope to make Colin Powell as the U.S. President. The case was related to a $500,000 of street money. Ed Rollins offence was not lying. Few are seriously suggesting that anyone as smart as Rollins lied under oath. His deposition was more complex than that; it contained what used to be called a "mental reservation." In the end it can be said that Rollins has not lost, there are many incidents when people glee at others's misfortune.
