This article discusses possibilities of electoral win of Molly Ivins, a Texas liberal, in the coming U.S. Senatorial election. Main democratic opponents of Ivins are Jim Mattox, representative Mike Andrews, and Richard Fisher. The only thing that would, supposedly, keep the electorate awake would be the sound of their own yawning. It is expected that Ivins could win because beneath her literary genius she is tough, and all Texans, including Redneckus texensis, as she calls them, have admired her, from Ma Ferguson to Ann Richards. There is one more reason for her victory that she is a feminist.
