The author offers her observations on the political debates concerning the proposed U.S. war against Iraq. The author immersed herself in the live reports of the United Nations inspectors concerning the existence of nuclear weapons in Iraq. She listened to National Public Radio and simultaneously watched the hearing on network television. She noticed the discomfort that foreign ministers of Germany, Bahrain and Mexico have on initiating a war. She listened to the various opposing views that executives of various countries have on the necessity of the war.
