The article focuses on several articles, newspapers and periodicals. If one had been eager to read something on the influence of The Wall Street Journal's editorial page, one will probably be somewhat disappointed in the American Journalism Review's tepid effort, "The Right Stuff," in its December issue. The article covers most of the important bases, from the wacko, an editorial blaming the murder of abortion doctor David Gunn on the political excesses of the sixties to the reprehensible, six Journal editorials on the Los Angeles, California riots. Last spring, after The Village Voice ran John Sack's article "The Jewish Kommandant: The Wrath of Solomon," writer Rob Boynton wrote a fascinating piece for The New York Observer explaining how Sack's investigation, originally slated as a cover story for GQ, had found its way to the Voice.
