The article presents information on gays and lesbians movements. As a new millennium approaches, the lesbian/gay movement must lead the nation to a moral consensus that discrimination against people because of their sexual orientation is wrong. Bolstered by the size and diversity of the ranks, people left their March on Washington prepared to participate in a variety of strategies to counter the offensive tactics of the forces of homophobic injustice. But their opponents' war chest is impressive and their tactics are increasingly sophisticated.
