Most anti-choice leaders were quick to distance themselves from the murder of Dr. David Gunn, the abortion provider shot by a pro-life fanatic participating in a clinic harassment action called by "Rescue America." Mix moral extremism with easy access to firearms and the religious mania that fuels so much of American life and what one has is a recipe for home grown Christian terrorism that yields nothing to Islamic fundamentalist imports.
