The article presents a critical analyses of the book "Free Speech for Me--But Not for Thee: How the American Left and Right Relentlessly Censor Each Other," by Nat Hentoff. In his book aside from invoking right-wing names to embarrass people who have fallen short of his freedom of speech standard, censors on the right are barely mentioned. Though the fundamentalist right is responsible for most of the challenges to school and library books around the country, by far the most extensive discussion of book banning centers on black parents' objections to the use of the word "nigger" in the novel "Huckleberry Finn."
