This article focuses on several developments in the U.S. and around the world, as of July 1, 1991. The Pentagon has introduced a new concept by bringing brilliant visuals of Iraq-Kuwait crisis, 1991 for television viewers in the U.S. Videocassettes of war coverage are available from CNN and Great Britain's Independent Television News for viewers who want to relive those thrilling moments. And now, for the Fourth of July, comes another documentary film "Desert Storm: the Miniseries." Another development focuses on the latest batch of tape recordings by the former U.S. President Richard Nixon's archives. In sixty hours of conversation Nixon shows himself egregiously crude, mean and mendacious. He talks with Chief of Staff H.R. Haldeman about using Teamster "thugs" to break up demonstrations and smash protesters used for protest against Vietnam War.
