Letter to America

The author offers his views on U.S. foreign policy. He stresses that the U.S. government's militarization of Israel's industries and liberalization of its economy made Israel more dependent on them. Today, although Israel boost a high per capita income, the gap between rich and poor is one of the highest among industrial societies. The author is afraid that the government's current hostility to diplomacy stems not only from bad politics but also from the conservatives' commitment to transform the global power of the U.S. into global domination.
