Rising Opposition to War

The article focuses on the increasing number of nations, organizations and individuals that have expressed an opposition to a war between the United States and Iraq. The biggest anti-war demonstrations since the era of Vietnam war is being mobilized, with the opposition encompassing a broad range of Americans including pacifists, suburban mothers and people from small businesses. A poll conducted by the newspaper "Washington Post," and the ABC media network showed that 7 out of 10 Americans favored giving more time to inspectors of nuclear weapons in Iraq.
