The author reflects on the current situation of the Israel-Palestine conflict. He says that Haifa Mayor Amram Mitzna's suggestion to resume the Camp David talks implies that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has provided no solution to the security and economic situation. He adds that the two-state solution that the Palestinian Authority and Yasir Arafat is promoting has only brought differing views in Israel and Palestine.
