The author reflects on U.S. President George W. Bush's administration. He says that Bush's goal with North Korea is containment of any controversy. He claims that the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks defined Bush's presidency, but then he decided to further define his second term by getting into war with Iraq. He adds that even though there is widespread criticism against the tax-cut plan, Bush plans to push for it. He questions the ability of Democrats to oppose the tax proposals and unacceptable nominations.
