The author talks about the arrest of Muslim men in Los Angeles, California. He suggests that the arrests were because of the call in Special Registration Program of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), an ethnic profiling initiative of the Justice Department that requires Arab or Muslim nationals to report to INS. The INS reported that the arrests were only around 200 cases, while lawyers estimated 500-700 detainees.
