The article presents an interview with Jürgen Habermas, professor emeritus of philosophy at Frankfurt University in Germany and author of numerous books, including "The Future of Human Nature." When asked about his position on the imminent war with Iraq, he said that the U.S. should not go to war without unequivocal backing from the United Nations. About the conditions that would have to be met in order for him to support military action against Baghdad, Iraq, he said that the immediate conditions are those specified by the last resolution of the Security Council.
