The article focuses on the results of a poll, published by the "New York Times" two days before 2002 midterm elections in the U.S. The pollsters asked if the Republicans have a clear plan for the country if they gain control of the Congress. Based on the results, 42% of the responders answered yes, while 39% of them answered no. But when the same question was applied to the Democrats, only 31% answered yes, and 49% answered no. Democrats had no clear-cut economic assault, without a clear position on the tax cuts.
