The article focuses on the endorsement of U.S. President George W. Bush's military policies of regime change in Iraq by the "Washington Post." The magazine features U.S. officials' pronouncements on their support of military intervention in Iraq. The editorials, columns and Op-Eds have reinforced, amplified and promoted the Administration's case for regime change and have pushed the debate in the Administration's favor. The magazine also ran dissenting voices on Iraq including William Potter who believes that Saddam Hussein will be more likely to use his biological weapons, and John Mueller who wrote about how the U.S. is exaggerating the scale of the threats it faces.
