The article focuses on military recruiting on school campuses in the U.S. Military recruitment which was incorporated to the No Child Left Behind Act which require schools to give students' contact information to institutions of higher learning. The Solomon Amendment denies funding to colleges that ban military recruiters and gives the armed forces total access to the student population. The New York Civil Liberties Union is calling for New York City schools to adopt an opt-in policy on military recruitment.
