The article presents quotes on Iraq by several retired U.S. military officers. General Joseph Hoar says that the U.S. military campaign in Iraq would result to high casualties on both sides including the civilian community. General Norman Schwarzkopf talks about the size of the Iraqi defense forces. General Brent Scowcroft says that defeating the Iraqi military and destroying Saddam Hussein's regime would be difficult to the U.S. military.
