The article discusses various court rulings related to education and schools in United States court. The decision of Judge Alfred Goodwin of the 9th Circuit of Court of Appeals is to rule the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional. Goodwin asserts that the words "under god" establish endorsement of religion. Another decision was upholding the school voucher program in Cleveland, Ohio which may violate separation of church and state. The Court also decided to uphold the random drug testing of students who want to participate in after-school activities.
