The article discusses the problems faced by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an agency which has helped feed and educate Palestinian refugees since the mid-1900s, in relation to the conflict between Israel and Palestine. UNRWA head Peter Hansen has aired many criticisms against Israel in connection to its occupation of Jenin in the West Bank. The agency has been accused of condoning terror activities in Palestinian refugee camps. U.S. officials might ask for the resignation of Hansen in exchange for continued UNRWA funding.
