The article examines the dangers posed by economic and political dynasties in the U.S. The country has the highest inequality ratio among major Western nations. The proposed elimination of the inheritance tax is expected to further help the richest families in the U.S. in managing and entrenching their growing wealth. The political dynasty created by the election of George Bush and his son as presidents of the U.S. has an economic side. Little attention has been given to the dynastic aspect of wealth and politics in the country.
