The article discusses a report on global warming issued by the U.S. government in 2002. The contents of the report contradict much of the claims made by the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush regarding global warming, leading to efforts to bury the report. The publication concludes that global warming is real, and it will have negative consequences for U.S. citizens. It cites human activities, including the burning of oil and fossil fuels, as the primary cause of climate change. The report also discusses the lag effect of greenhouse gases.
