The article focuses on the film "Time Out," directed by Laurent Cantet. Cantet is both the writer and director of the film. It is the story of a man who spent his time sitting around in parking lots and coffee shops; he got his money by floating loans, which he never repaid. When debts grew so pressing that exposure was at hand, the man killed his family but not himself, although he tried. The film includes Aurélien Recoing as Vincent, the main character of the film and Serge Livrozet as a smuggler named Jean-Michel who is intimate friend of Vincent.
