This article discusses two books "A Convenient Spy: Wen Ho Lee and the Politics of Nuclear Espionage," by Dan Stober and Ian Hoffman and "My Country Versus Me: The First Hand Account by the Los Alamos Scientist Who Was Falsely Accused of Being a Spy," by Wen Ho Lee. These books are related with the spy story of a Chinese American physicist, Wen Ho Lee, who was accused of stealing some information of the U.S. nuclear program and giving them to mainland China. The first book reveals scandalous details of the misguided search for the Chinese-American spy and the second one presents Wen Ho Lee's account of his ordeal.
