The author of the article offers her apology for having missed the column deadline as she got late at the airport while going to Philadelphia. She had intended to write about war stories and that the Geneva Conventions were not such a big thing. She is also of the view that the Miranda rights and Civil rights were not needed; an ordered society is a nice one; enemies are secretly and sanitarily disposed of; the media are controlled to provide only uplifting images of clean conquest and happy people. No wonder, U.S. President George W. Bush is up for the Nobel Peace Prize. The author gives an account of how she was searched at the airport for security reasons.
