The article discusses the triology of films made by Roddy Doyle that brings an air of freshness in Hollywood. The flicks are good at sparking a family to rampageous life. Films made by Doyle are, "The Commitments," "The Snapper," and "The Van." What makes the "The Commitments" great is Doyle's untutored talent for dialogue in a medium dominated by words overprocessed and extruded by studios in terror of an original syllable. Another film, "The Snapper" is based on the inside tour of a mother's thought, but still is a pure jolt of Doyle dialogue, uncut by movie pros.
