The article focuses on current political situation in Yugoslavia. It was being said that North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)'s action would drive Serbs into the arms of Slobodan Milosevic. And the same NATO action would intensify, not alleviate, the plight of the Kosovar refugees. But the situation is just opposite now. The previous election in the country was boycotted by almost all Kosovars and by the government of Montenegro. If these two groups of opposition voters are not considered, even then it is obvious that Milosevic has been humiliated, exposed, unmasked, disgraced. The Kosovar population can take these steps more confidently because they are all now safely home and because the death squads of Greater Serbia cannot trouble them anymore.
