The article reports on the November 12 prank carried out by activists Andy Bichlbaum of the organization Yes Men, and Steven Lambert of the Anti-Advertising Agency, who handed out thousands of fake "New York Times" newspapers to commuting New York City residents. The papers carried headlines claiming that the Iraq war was over. Lambert stated that the idea was to project good news.
