The author of the article offers a humorous look at U.S. vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin's candidacy, how she was going to miss hearing about Palin in the daily news, and how comedians such as Tina Fey were going to miss satirizing the candidate. The article points out Palin's major contributions which were helping to clarify what feminism really means, forcing conservatives to recognize working mothers, and making the idea of a woman in the U.S. White House acceptable.
