The article discusses the way that Kenyans received the news that Barack Obama had been elected U.S. president, and how Kenyans had been following the U.S. presidential election campaign for months, and producing Obama beer, t-shirts, pop songs such as "Obama Be Thy Name," and a musical called "Obama: The Musical." The author mentions the intelligence of Barack Obama, Sr., and the positive way Kenya and the rest of the world is viewing the U.S.
