The New Humanitarian Order

The article discusses the duties of the International Criminal Court and what this court calls the new humanitarian order, focusing on the arrest of Sudan's president Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir on genocide and war crimes. The author outlines the history of the Darfur civil war conflict, and how Bashir was incorrectly blamed for the racialization of the conflict, as well as for ethnic cleansing, land-grabbing, and refugee camp atrocities.
