Guilty of Driving a Truck

The article offers commentary about the U.S. prison facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and the trial and conviction of Salim Hamdan according to the U.S. Military Commissions Act. The president of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, John Wesley Hall stated that the U.S. government must be proud for convicting a truck driver for driving a truck. The author points out that the prosecution of this man for war crimes highlights any crimes the U.S. may have committed.
