This article comments on how U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama plans to continue the legacy of President George W. Bush's faith-based initiative through his own President's Council for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. The author suggests that social services need to be publicly provided not offered through government subsidized religious organizations.
