The article discusses attempts by 2008 U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama to attract voters in the Pennsylvania primary election. Obama bowled with senator Bob Casey Jr. to raise publicity. The author suggests Obama's campaign has had difficulties in states that are more ethnically diverse and that citizens of small towns such as Hazelton, Pennsylvania may favor fellow candidate Hillary Clinton due to racial anxiety.
