Obama's Mercenary Position

The article reports on the position of 2008 Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama on private security contractors like Blackwater Worldwide operating in Iraq and elsewhere. Obama has not ruled out continuing their use, but he wants to make them accountable under U.S. law. The political and legal issues around military contractors are discussed.
