Police "accidentally" killed Patrick Dorismond, an unarmed Haitian security guard who had angrily rebuffed the aggressive attempts of undercover officers to engage him in a drug deal. New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, displaying that pit-bull piety for which he is so renowned, responded to community outcry by releasing Dorismond's sealed juvenile record and labeling him no "altar boy." Speaking of mental, Mayor Giuliani has reportedly accepted a campaign contribution from NRA president Charlton Heston, the gun owners' Black Panther.
